ROUND DOUBLET DOUBLE FLAT ( EXTRA THICK )

Opal doublet is composed by two layers, the top layer with synthetic opal and bottom layer with Colored Stone or boulder opal. Opal doublet is available in cabochon or double flat design. The final cost will be highly affected by the opal thickness. This product example displays a thin opal sheet attached to a thick Colored Stone layer. This could highly reduce cost for design which requires very thick stone. As lab-grown synthetic opal is grown layer by layer, the opal color and fire are still very concrete when the opal sheet is very thin.
