    • GLASSBLOWING ART

    Galaxy Opal is chemically identical to natural opal, both are 100% silica, both have the same hardness, brilliance and fire. The only thing that changes is origin. Galaxy Opal is especially suitable for glassblowing art as it can resist more than 900 degree C. Galaxy Opal is also suitable for High-end Jewellery market. It can achieve some designs which are hardly achieved by natural opal.

    Most of the created opals resin free in the market are our Galaxy Opal resin free. The names might be various, however, they are actually made by our material manufacturer which is KYOCERA (JAPAN).
    Some retailers have even named our Galaxy Opals as "Gilson Opal" which is actually no longer in production.
